How to Launch a Coaching Program: Build a Launch Runway That Leads to Sales
If you’re trying to figure out how to launch a coaching program, don’t start with launch day. Start with what needs to happen before you ever ask someone to buy.
You can have a great coaching program and still struggle to sell it.
Why?
Because creating the offer is only one part of the process.
You also need a strategy for attracting the right people, introducing them to your expertise, building interest in what you do, and eventually moving them toward the offer you want them to buy.
I call this your launch runway.
What Is a Launch Runway?
Your launch runway is everything that happens before you make your main offer.
Instead of creating a coaching program and immediately asking people to buy it, you work backward from the offer and determine what needs to happen first.
That might include bringing new people into your audience, offering a free resource, introducing a lower-cost offer, sharing client success stories, or creating content that helps potential clients understand the problem you solve.
The goal isn't to add a bunch of unnecessary steps.
The goal is to create an intentional path to the sale.

You Don't Need a Perfect Launch Strategy to Start
I've been building and selling offers since 2012.
In 2017, I generated approximately $107,000 in my business, my first six-figure year.
I didn't get there because I had a perfect funnel or an elaborate launch process from day one.
I tested what worked. I paid attention to the data. I adjusted.
Then I built repeatable processes around what was actually producing results.
That's the same approach I've used for more than a decade while helping coaches, consultants, and experts turn what they know into revenue.
Prove that people want what you're selling. Then build the process around what works.
